The assessment rubric is to serve as a guide in order to provide clear expectations and a way for students to evaluate their own progress.
Any concerns with either the assessment guidelines or the inquiry project should be communicated to the instructor. Remember that we all share the same goal- for this to be a useful and informative educational experience for everyone!
